The Amazon Affiliate Program
While exploring the web for opportunities to write content, I came upon the Amazon Affiliate program. I got deeper into the program when I purchased a video series from Holly ("BondGirl") Bond. She's for real, a regular type, and doesn't look at all like Halle Berry. She does, however, have a sister named Jaime Bond. Holly has a strong marketing background.
Holly's video series and associated pdf's describe the steps in becoming an Amazon Affiliate and creating a business web site that make referrals to Amazon products. Referrals generate income for any sale made on Amazon on that visit, whether it be for the product you may have linked to or any other product purchased in that visit. The referral strategy of this program is to develop sites that compare and rank product groups that are found on Amazon - sewing machines, cameras, surf boards, etc. Chances are if you have Google'd for product references, you probably found sites that were Amazon Affiliate sites.
The blog site below is the place where I record notes as I move through the steps of Holly's program. IT WILL MAKE NO SENSE UNLESS YOU HAVE THE PROGRAM since the notes generally track with the videos. I don't repeat material in the videos. When I purchased the series in June of 2012, it cost $10. It is not a thousand pages but as witnessed by this blog, it caused me to take action.
I got the series at the Warrior Forum, Azon Commission Blueprint.
The number of my blog posts are my steps, and do NOT correspond to the numbers used in the blueprint.
